Sonora’s Own Agave Spirit.

Bacanora is an agave spirit grown and produced exclusively in the state of Sonora in northwestern Mexico.

Is it Tequila? Or Mezcal?

No. Tequila is made from blue agave and Mezcal can be made from dozens of different agave plants.
Bacanora is only made from the Pacifica Agave (Angustifolia Haw) native to Sonora. The agave is fire-roasted with mesquite wood in an earthen pit for several days before distilling which gives Bacanora its distinctive smokiness.

Unique Terroir. Complex Flavors.

Sonora’s rich soil, high elevation, hot days and cold nights give Bacanora its alluring dry, peppery flavor with an earthy finish.
